School Visits Terms


To ensure a safe visit, the teacher or group leader will be responsible for discipline, safety and overall control of the group.

The maximum ratio of pupils to supervisors must be adhered to as set down by the LEA.

A risk assessment will be carried out for each visit which must be signed by the teacher or group leader.
Leaders of Second Nature are First Aid Trained and have Public Liability Insurance.
A First Aid Kit will be available on all visits but the teacher or group leader should ensure at least one supervisor has basic First Aid knowledge.

Pupils and leaders should bring appropriate footwear and clothing for the conditions i.e warm clothing, waterproofs and wellingtons
in wet/cold conditions, sun hats and sunscreen in warm conditions.
Parents/guardians should be warned beforehand that children may get wet and muddy.

Bespoke workshops available for primary and Secondary Schools, Special Schools, Home Education Groups and for adults.

Full payment must be paid on the day of visit by cheque payable to ‘ Nicky Fish’ or by BACS or Bank Transfer,I wish to apply for a visit. I confirm I have read and understood

the outlined conditions and will ensure the group complies with them.
