Our Story

Second Nature began with Lizzie, a proud Teesside townie who, despite her early love for visiting farms, never envisioned a career in agriculture. However, after finding her way into the farming world, she became a passionate advocate for women in the industry and mental health awareness. Second Nature was born from her desire to connect others with food, farming, and the countryside. Through its podcast and brand, it encourages everyone to discover where their food comes from, learn to grow their own, and appreciate the beauty of seasonal produce, making these connections feel like second nature.

And this, is how Second Nature was created; a brand and podcast that has connection at it's heart.
